FHC Reunited goes live
When I was 14 I was over weight and rather unfit. A good friend of mine introduced me to the game of hockey and I have been playing ever since.
I play in goal and was a part of something special through 96, 97 and 98 when we won three back to back championships against tough opposition. The fact that we looked like a bunch of amateurs turning up in jeans against teams wearing all sponsored team tracksuits never fazed us infact we relished the opportunity to play these teams and laugh as we stuff them 11-0.
The team disbanded and merged with another club and once University kicked in everyone left and came back playing for different clubs. It has only been recently that we have all decided to get back together in the off season and play other teams.
