So I am back after tinkling with Flash and have managed to develop an MP3 player which is pretty basic but works.
What I had found is that developing in MX does not mean its going to work with current day Flash Players. I had no end of trouble building a progress bar which worked fine in MX but when I uploaded to a live site it turned into the a Manic depressive moving the progress bar all over the shop. Swearing did not seem to fix it so for now it has been canned until I can find out why it is not working.
I have learnt a lot in the short time I have been developing in Flash but a few book purchases are required before I dive into the pool of unknown.
