Exciting times. A new iPhone applicationĀ  hit Apple’s App Store today.

Described in the App Store as

a geo-location app which downloads the pollen forecast local to you, and depending on the current count, you’ll be woken up with a variety of sneezes. So you’ll know what to expect before you get out of bed.

The Application is basically an alarm clock that uses the phone’s in build gelocation service to determine the users location to get the Pollen Data (Which is done via a web service) so the user can determine what the pollen count is when an alarm goes off.

The Application also utilises push notifications and local notifications to keep the user updated of pollen counts and any new marketing information. The Application also integrates with Facebook and uses some nice custom UI.

The Application can be downloaded for free from the App Store.
