CMS Websites

CMS sites or Content Managed System sites allow the webmaster to control some or all of there sites content. This is normally done via a back end administration area. It's easy and keeps your site up to date which is a winner with those search engines.

CMS What is it

Wikipedia describes it as:

A content management system (CMS) is a computer application used to create, edit, manage, and publish content in a consistently organized fashion. CMSs are frequently used for storing, controlling, versioning, and publishing industry-specific documentation such as news articles, operators' manuals, technical manuals, sales guides, and marketing brochures. The content managed may include computer files, image media, audio files, video files, electronic documents, and Web content.

My definition is a website that allows the webmaster to edit certain or all of there website via a backend interface. I like my version better personally.

CMS options

To be honest it is down to you. The scope is infinite when talking about a CMS it really does depend on your needs as the owner of the site. Do you need news?, I could install a Wordpress blog or even write something bespoke for your needs, again it is a system tailored to you. No CMS is ever generic.

Example Sites

I suppose the best way to see my CMS work is to see some examples. You could head over to my website portfolio or just check out the images below.
